Students in grades 4-8 are eligible to play after school sports. Parent volunteers are solicited to direct and coach teams, which participate in PPSL (Peninsula Parish School League) competitions. Students may participate in baseball, volleyball, basketball, and track. Goals of the sports program include promoting physical health, developing athletic skills, and instilling the values of team play and good sportsmanship.

The St. Timothy Catholic Sports Program, consistent with the and values of the school, aims to providing the opportunity for students to learn basic fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork through participation in school sports.

Membership
All eligible students enrolled in St. Timothy Catholic School may participate. In order to be eligible students must be in Grades 4-8 and maintain no less than a C average overall. Parents and students must abide by the rules of PPSL (Peninsula Parish School League) in order for students participate in the program. There is a fee per sport for each team participant.
OTHER ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES
Field Day - Events such as relay races and obstacle courses are featured in a springtime field day that includes all students. Each team consists of players of all ages.
Black & Gold Tournament - One of the highlights of the end of the year is the annual Black & Gold Tournament. 8th graders are assigned to coed teams and play a very spirited game. The entire student body attends this event to cheer on their schoolmates.
