Extended Care

The before and after school care program is available to all students attending St. Timothy School. This goal of the program is to support families by providing safe and dependable child care on the days their children attend school. Realizing that children need to relax and play after school, the atmosphere is relatively unstructured. Children are free to choose from our daily activities, which include: indoor toys and games, arts and crafts, movies, computer games and outside activities (weather permitting). There is, however, a 45 minute homework time set aside for children in Grades 3 through 8. Children in those grades will be required to spend quiet time working on their assignments. We provide all children with an afternoon snack.

Hourly Rates:

$6.25 per hour for 1 child
$11.50 per hour for 2 children
$15.75 per hour for 3 children
$20.00 per hour for 4 children

Hours: We are open each school day from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All children must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. The late fee for pickup after 6:00 p.m. will be $1:00 per minute per child.

Procedures: Registration in the Extended Care Program requires:

  • A signed Contract Agreement
  • An Emergency Information Form
  • A registration fee of $40.00 (per family).

In November during Parent/Teacher Conference week, there will be 5 minimum days for which advance reservations are required. Parents must reserve space for their children two weeks prior to Conference Week. This is to ensure that staffing is sufficient to supervise the children.

Questions may be directed to Mrs. Gina Dy, Extended Care Program Director.
